Devon Dub Fest Music 2012
This year we will be joined by both some familiar faces and some new ones. We’ll be adding bands and DJs to this page over the coming weeks as the schedules are confirmed so keep checking back as things will be growing and changing.
Hot Dub Bikini Party
Hot Dub Bikini Party are a Devon based band who play an eclectic mix of dub reggae, funky punk, dancey rock and afro-indie-beat. With a diverse mash up of genres they bounce through street song deep in soul, originality and irresistable movement creating a distinctly soundtrack appeal to their music.
Still a fresh band they are developing their sound and hope to be gigging extensively throughout the summer with a main stage slot at this years One Love Festival and a mini ‘bikini party beach tour’ already planned .

Marnie
Marnie is a Devon based Singer / Songwriter who will be performing with Special guests a mix of quality originals & challenging covers.
Marnie’s voice sounds like a little bit of K.T.Tunstall, Alanis, Adele, a little bit of The Cranberries, and a Whole Load of Marnie !!!
Her voice makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up as she displays an impressive vocal range, from a raw, soft & heartfelt delivery to a powerful belting technique.
Over the last decade Marnie has gone from strength to strength building up a name for herself on the local scene and all over from Ireland to Germany, Cornwall to Norfolk and lots in between!

Sam Green
Sam Green is an Acoustic Guitarist/Singer Songwriter from East Devon. His music is a blend of Reggae tainted Folk 
Blues and contemporary freestyle guitar playing.
‘A talented singer/guitarist, he favors a variety of open tunings which allow him to apply an extremely effective finger style’ Martin Hodge-Phonic FM.‘
Sam has spent the last year gigging throughout the U.K appearing at various venues and festivals. He has just completed his first full length solo album and is planning for a U.K tour at the end of 2011 with his band.
The Loose Cannons
The Loose Cannons Band have been injecting high energy performances into events around the county for five years.
Comprising of a pumping 4 piece rhythm section, overlaid by the mighty riffs of the six piece brass section, iced by the harmonies of the three piece vocal section. Cake for the ears, and plenty happening on the stage.

Jabbrock
Jabbrock have played many festivals and lifted drenched audiences with their soul filled and original Dub sound.
The band evolved from live collaborations with Dibdub Soundsystem. Since those early days they’ve performed at festivals and venues, and this year bringing new dimensions to the party with a fully vibrant live show.
